| Our Chef |
The Fire Place Restaurant co-owner chef, Harry Williams, is passionate about his food and meticulous in its presentation. His innovative menu will please even the most discerning palate and his artistic food presentation will surprise and delight. Harry, a qualified butcher, made the change to chefing over ten years ago. The self-taught chef worked in Hamilton restaurants for several years honing his skills before becoming head chef of the highly regarded Tables On The River restaurant. Harry's reputation for creative cuisine is well established, winning both the NZ Beef & Lamb chef Award and the Tegal Chicken chef award Harry is now co-owner of The Fire Place restaurant with brother Ben. His passion for creating eye-pleasing, great tasting food remains and The Fire Place has gained the reputation for the best dining in Whitianga on the Coromandel Peninsula of New Zealand. |
